The Kingsway contemporary Asian restaurant experience from Chef Ashwin Vilkhu, inspired by family dinners from his childhood home in New Orleans. Growing up, family meals reflected the rich culinary diversity of Asia's bold flavors, vibrant spices, and dishes that seamlessly blended traditions. New Orleans much like Singapore, where cultures and cuisines intertwine, The Kingsway celebrates this intersection of flavors, reimagining them with refined techniques and a contemporary sensibility.
Every dish is a tribute to the meals that shaped him as Chef, crafted with precision and imagination. Thoughtfully sourced and sustainable ingredients, local seafood & produce, balanced bold flavors, and an unwavering commitment to excellence define our approach. The Kingsway is not just a restaurant it is an homage to memory and a celebration of Asian cuisine & culture through New Orleans.

Director of Beverage Colin Williams, a trained chef, leads the beverage program with a culinary-driven approach where each cocktail is designed to enhance the dining experience. At the helm of service, General Manager & Sommelier Taylor Adams brings an unparalleled level of leadership, ensuring every guest feels welcomed with warmth and hospitality. He also curates the wine program, meticulously crafting pairings that enhance and elevate every course.
